New K-30 owner

I finally took the plunge and graduated from a P&S camera to the K-30 with the 18-135 kit lens given the recent price drops. I have a lot to learn and have found the book "Digital Photography for Dummies" to be incredibly informative and complementary to the K-30 owners manual for a beginner like me.

Welcome and congrats on the K30, I took the same leap a few months ago and have not regretted it. There is a lot of information here and plenty of answers to any question.

I cannot say enough good things about another book:

Bryan Peterson's Understanding Photography Field Guide: How to Shoot Great Photographs with Any Camera: Bryan Peterson: 9780817432256: Amazon.com: Books

I als use a new K-30 with the 18-135. Fantastic kit. A confidence kit.
