Hello to the Forum. I have owned film Pentax SLR cameras all the way back to 1965 in Seattle WA. My first Pentax was a Honeywell Pentax with a 50 mm lens and nothing automatic about it not even a light meter; pure manual. My next was ME Super Pentax with 50 mm lens, and my last Pentax was a Pentax ZX-M and 50 mm lens. I am not a stranger to digital photography since my wife has a Nikon D-5000 and I have has occasion to use it. I am interested in the new Pentax K-50 but I am having a tough time selecting a lens to go with it. Like most everyone else in these economic times I do have to budget so I am looking for a reasonably priced lens in the $300 area (maybe a bit more).
