Pentax Lifer...New to Forums

I started shooting Pentax in high school - 35 years ago. I purchased my first new SLR, a K-1000 with my graduation money in 1983. I went through the ME, ME-Super, ME Super Program, P7, and then to DSLR with an istD model. Probably sounds like a traditional progression.

I first opted for Pentax because the early "program" cameras were aperture preferred, unlike Cannon that was shutter preferred. Well, we are long beyond those days now, but I am a loyal Pentax guy. My daughter is now a budding photographer and doing s great job. Here's to the next generation of Pentax shooters!
