Hi guys!
Just found this forums,
Looks very interesting so far...

I am a new/ starter dslr photographer, still experimenting on styes and lenses...
I am using my pentax k-x for a year now...
So i love it because of ISO and the fast shutter + good quality...

I believe its a good starter camera...

I also have the pentax k-x bundle with 18-55mm and the 50-300mm i think...

But it is very hard to change all the time between lenses specially i dont want to get dust all over my lenses and camera...
is there a possible lens that is able to fit pentax k-x and its around 18-200mm?

with a reasonable price as well..?

I hope this forums would be a nice way for me to learn more from all u experts out there

Hello and welcome.

There are a few super zoom lenses that start at 18mm.
Sigma and Tamron each make an 18-200 for the focal length you have mentioned.
There are also the Pentax 18-135, 18-270 that can be bought new, and a discontinued 18-250 that is still available on the used market.
Sigma also makes an 18-250 in Pentax mount.

Check the lens reviews section of the forum to see what is currently available.

Any of these would make a good step up: K-30, K-50, K-5, K-5II, K-5IIs.

Figure out what your goals are and match them with the capabilities and features of each camera.

Hi and welcome to the forum
The Tamron 18-200 is a good travel/walk around lens and when found on the Marketplace here you can get it for a good price.
If you are happy with your K-x I should keep shooting with it and invest in lenses.
I really recommend the DA 35mm F2.4 as your first prime as it produce great pictures with stunning bokeh and you can also find it for a great price new/used.
