Hi all.
Discovered this site a little while back but just guested and read reviews.
then thought I should register and be a part of it.

Im a pro photographer, working in national editorial (print and online) mainly, which includes a wide variety of subjects, but quite sport based as well as reportage and features led work.
Ive been a canon devotee for the past 20 years. But the 645D has sent the canon packing for the time being.

yes, its not the first choice of sport photographers. but then the sports I photograph are relatively slow moving and done in daylight, outdoors, so no biggie.
loving the camera. loving the image quality and its re-kindled my joy of photography after all these years working in the industry. I already still loved it, but this 645D has opened up new possibilities. It's a real photographers camera. taking it back to old school but in a modern digital kind of way. Simply Brilliant. very rewarding.

Fantastic introduction and welcome to the forum ! Also - make sure you start posting some of your photos - I need to feed my hunger for that lovely camera that is haunting me for the past few years - the prices comes down so I might finally afford it

Welcome! Great to see a pro boarding the Pentax train. The 645D is no doubt an amazing camera, but it's pretty rarified air for most of us.
Don't write off Pentax's APS-C DSLRs and lenses either....

thanks for the welcomes, I will link up some pics when I get some that aren't copyrighted to clients. I should be sailing over to France this weekend so will take it with me and see what happens. lots of possibilities. hope it doesn't rain as I haven't sorted a hydrophobic cover for the 645d yet.
