Hi
I am in my early twenties and started taking "serious" photos about one year ago, though I already had experience with DSLRs for a few more years.
I more or less started with a K-5, even though I had a K-7 for a few weeks before that until I sold it for the K-5.
I am an advanced rookie and I think that I have a decent sense for image composition. I would really want to dive a little deeper into photography, but at the moment I don't have the time to do serious photosessions on a regular basis. I just carry my camera around whenever I can.
I really like my Pentax and the Pentax philosophy and enjoy collecting the old primes.
As a first image for the forums:
Just took this pic with a Pentax SMC A 50mm 1:1.7mm Lens and a Pentax 2x Telekonverter.
Aperture was at f16 I think, exposed for 2 seconds at ISO 400 with the camera on a tripod. I could have done 8 seconds at ISO 100, but I wanted to reduce possible influence of vibrations as ISO 400 is already pretty good with my K-5 and the Tripod was not the best.
Shot from last week on the street just in front of my flat. Actually with the 18-55 Kit lens at f5.6 at 1/40s and ISO 500.
So, hello from my side. Looking forward to a good time in this forum.
