Hello from Alaska!

I am a long time owner of Pentax gear in the film era. When I started in the digital world, I went with Nikon, as my brother used that equipment. Recently with all the changes, weight and quality of the gear, he is changing over to Fuji and I switched to Pentax. I read this site and enjoy the intelligent insight without most of the fighting that goes on elsewhere.

I would like to thank everyone a head of time, for any comments to questions I might raise. Thank you.

Now, with the introduction done, how do I ask a question?

Hx- Since leaving Nikon, I have owned a K-R, K-01 and now a K5IIs.

I do have a question about an older manual lens that I have, it's compatibility and also the ability to focus peak w/ my K5IIs.

Do I ask it here or do I go to another thread?

Thank you again.

I'd recommend posting your lens questions in the lens forum.

The K-5 IIs does not have focus peaking, but it should otherwise be compatible with manual lenses. See this thread for info on how to use them:
