Hello from the Chicago area

Just joined! My dad talked me into it, so now here is my welcome. I am original from Des moines but I go to shcool in a Chicago suburb. I'm a beginner photographer and I still have a lot to learn about all the bits and pieces (right now I just kind of point and shoot, but I am learning a lot so far) I hope that I can learn more from this site.

Welcome to the forums Don't be afraid to ask any questions or post your photos, and be sure to "borrow" some of your Dad's gear right before you leave for school again...

BTW, I grew up in Chicago and went to school north of Des Moines (Go Cyclones)! A fortune of reversals.
