Just wanted to introduce myself finally. I registered when I bought my K-r in 2011 but never posted. Now I'm buying a blue K-30 and thought I needed to stop in and say Hi. I've loved reading all the posts, really helped seal my decision to upgrade to the K-30.

Hi there! I think you made a wise decision upgrading to a K-30. The price is just amazing atm and it will be an upgrade, believe me.
My only recommendation is that you keep your K-r as a back up camera. I still regret I sold mine but at that time my wife thought we needed the extra cash. Now even she regret our (her) decision as she also miss the K-r

Yeah I was starting think I would regret it if I sold. I'm not in need of the money so maybe I will hold onto it for now.
