Dearest Pentaxians!

I've been a devout addict since 1967 when I bought my first Spotmatic and lenses in the PX overseas in 1967! My next upgrade was an LX and MX and all new Lenses. I still have the MX and lenses! I finally went digital with a K7 a few years ago. The K7/5 Bodies a re a real pleasure to use and my results are fabulous! Then I pick up my MX and just wonder where we are going? I just LOVE simple and easy! I'm just OLD!

Apparently, we're only as old as the (camera) bodies we feel...

No apology to Groucho, there, especially as my history with Pentax is similar to yours, at least in terms of longevity with the brand (I only bought an LX twelve months ago, though). But welcome, anyway, and enjoy your time here.

This place is being swamped by Scotsmen and Aussies

Welcome, and thanks for the intro! Yes, cameras used to be a fairly simple business. Now a lot more of the darkroom work has been (or can be) moved into the camera, making the process of taking pictures more complicated. But still, the basics are the same. The possibilities, though, are endless.

Erm, so it's the Scots' fault that there are more Aussies outside of Oz than in?

Somebody pass me a whisky! Big one!
