Hi all!

Hey everyone! My name is Jillian...the pentax k30 is my first DSLR, and I'm loving it! So happy to have found this forum and other pentax lovers.
also...any suggestions for "must have" lenses would be appreciated...I've just been working with the kit (18-55 mm) and a prime (2.4/35mm), but looking to add more. thanks!

Welcome Jillian. Lens recommendations depends on what type of pictures you might want to take. You can find reviews and picture samples of lenses on this forum. You're going to get a lot of recommendations for various reasons......

Welcome!

Must have??? Practice! Get comfy with those 2 lenses and count how many times you say you wished you had X...as in a zoomier lens, a wider angle or a tripod. if it's more than a few times, budget to get one!

Dig into this site and you'll find lots of inspiration.

Enjoy!

New lenses should be about what you can't do with your current kit. What do you want to do? What will it take to do it?

Meanwhile enjoy the late summer and autumn, with the great photography opportunities of the season.
