I am from the UK, have been keen on photography for about 25 years, having used originally film SLR, then a variety of consumer digital cameras before getting a Pentax K10D, some nice lenses to go with it. I enjoyed this immensely, but my interest waned a couple of years ago. First stage of reinvigorating my interest was to get a K5 (the inability to fine tune individual lenses on the K10D had always really frustrated me), which worked to a point. What really reinvigorated me is our new born daughter, who will soon be 3 months. She smiles for the camera, and doesn't complain about how long it takes to change lenses, or my messing with lighting conditions, the ideal subject
