Hello for the midwest USA

Hey y'all new member here with my introduction. Honestly have been a Canon guy for my short tenure with the hobby, but recently bought a k-r with 800 actuations for very short money. I have since become intrigued with the Pentax line. I have only been able to use my new toy a few times but so far I am impressed. I still have a Canon 60D and a T3i with a few lenses. I like my Canon stuff, but really like the idea of some fast lens for less money. Pentax is to be commended for retaining the ability to use older classic glass. I was also drawn to the in-body stabilization. My ability is low, but getting better all the time. Hope to learn even more as a member of this community. Thanks for listening to my rambling.

Welcome to the Forums and the Pentax family.. There is a wealth of information here for the asking. You might also check out the non Pentax camera forum here at PF Non-Pentax Cameras: Canon, Nikon, etc. - PentaxForums.com

Welcome to the forum, you could always keep using both systems, then you could spend twice as much on your hobby.
