Teenager with an overpriced camera.

Well after spending most of my afternoons or work toilet breaks to trudge through the endless barrage of misconceptions and rumours I have finally decided to myself become a photographic-hipster and join the Pentax community.
Although I do not own a Pentax, I used to. My first DSLR was a Pentax K5. I gave this to my [bestfriend] ex-girlfriend and went on to purchase a Canon 7D and 5D Mark III. After only a few months I then sold both of those and now own a Canon 1D-X which is my workhorse for both film and photographic ventures. Although the reason I am here is because FINALLY Pentax might be releasing a new and quite capable DSLR, which I am quite interested in purchasing. I do not plan to sell my 1D-X but rather keep it for event and project photography. The K-3 will be my travel and adventure camera. This is the plan, at least.

Also, "becoming a hipster" is about the very last reason you should choose Pentax.
Unless you're going to carry around a K1000 with a 28mm lens. (or the old M40 pancake to make life even more difficult).

Yeah, I've been thinking I need to buy some film myself and use one of these old manual bodies I have. I also need to build a negative conversion rig to convert my nice old negatives...]

The K1000 really does feel pretty good in the hands, I grew up using my Dad's manual Minolta, it was so easy.

Get a weathersealed lens for the K3 (or K5) and get outside and have some fun. Do things which will terrify anyone with a less robust camera.

Is it possible that this is a Forum troll? I am not sure if this type of thing happens on Camera forums.... I just find it odd that a teenager has recently purchased and sold a K5, gone on to purchase a Canon 7D and a 5D Mark III and claims to have sold those in favor of a Canon 1D-X but now also wants to buy a K3.... Just sounds strange considering very few people on this forum could afford to buy a 1D-X, let alone buy and sell 3 cameras prior to and flip them all and likely lose money on each.

If this is not a troll, than just where do teenagers find $10,000 these days?
