G'day from Queensland

Hi all- just joined up after buying a Mecablitz 58 AF-2 flashgun to sit on my K10D. It's a new excursion into flash photography, and proving a technical challenge but I'm sorting through it ( my first flashgun used bulbs!!!) Very impressed with B&H Photo - simpler ,quicker and cheaper to buy the gun through them in New York than from Brisbane - how does that make sense? The new Pentax 55-300mm lens looks very exciting- my next purchase will be a telephoto lens for medium range wildlife photography and this looks very appropriate!

Don't fall in love with B&H too quickly, otherwise you might end up with K-3 in your hands one of these days...hehe.

Gooday mate how goes it? It seems like there is a big shift toward Pentax, and it is no wonder with the good cameras and lenses they bring out. Welcome and have fun on the forums

Welcome fellow banana bender. Yep B&H are good for some thing's, but the Pentax web store, CR Kennedy, is quite competitive and worth a look. If our dollar stays high we should have some good choice.
