Gudday from the Blue Mountains

Hi there. 8)

I've been a Pentax (camera) owner for about a week now (I have an old Pentax 50 mm f/2 manual lens I'd been using on my Lumix - and two of my pairs of glasses have Pentax lenses

).

Anyway, the camera is a K-30, and as well as the old 50mm I have a Sigma 30 mm f/1.4 which is just beautiful.

I'm also to be found on Blipfoto and Flickr (I might add links in a sig or something; the link button isn't doing much on my ipad...) with rather ... varied photographs ;-)

I should just add: my father, who sowed the seeds for my interest in photography, has alwaysalwaysalways been a Pentax man, first film, then digital. So it's probably no surprise I jumped this way when it came time to step up from the little Lumix.

There's a few of us in and around Sydney
You should try to get to one of the Sydney Pentax User Cub's meetups and you can try all sorts of lenses

Welcome aboard. I'm at Emu Plains and am the Treasurer/Webmaster of the Henry Lawson Camera Club at Werrington - Henry Lawson | Camera Club | Penrith | Penrith Valley | St Marys

There are only a couple of Pentax users in the club - the President and me!
