Hello from Canberra, Australia

Hi to all! I'm coming back to photography after three decades of almost complete abstinence - have been doing other exciting things. Have been using K-01 and K30 during last 5-6 months, and enjoy the experience very much. Canberra, where I live now, is a city in the bush, actually more bush than city, and with its hills, lakes and frequent morning fog, a variety of interesting birds and, occasionally, kangaroos (yes, in the city), it is a paradise for a nature photographer. I'm here mostly to learn, but perhaps also to contribute some ideas to discussions, and maybe to show and discuss some pictures.

Welcome aboard, I really intrigued as to what the other "exciting things" for three decades were, but hey, that's just me being nosey.

Hi there from down the road (Sydney)

Enjoy shooting in your part of the world.

[HINT] The kangaroos in Orroral Valley are usually very obliging subjects if you want to practice wildlife.

They not "were" but still "are" - research in geochemistry and related areas. I hope that and photography can peacefully coexist, will try to make it happen .
