Hello all

I've been using Pentax for years – I love my old k1000. My P&S just died so I'm finally looking to pull the trigger on a dslr.

I look forward to posting here as I learn my way around it.

I'm looking at getting a k10d, k200d, or a k100d, depending on the deal I can get.
Please feel free to let me know if you have any pointers/offers in this regard.
I'd particularly like to be able to do a deal with someone living around my part of the world – but I don't know if that'll be possible.

Hi Ian,

I am glad your P&S died and a wise choice in getting a Pentax - all 3 camera's are good and I would imagine you can get a good deal on both of the older DSLR's.
