Hi from Spain.

Moved to Spain about 6 months ago from the UK.
I am a total novive and currently looking for a DSLR, have decided on a Pentax but am still undecided if it should be a K100D Super, K10D or K200D .. K20D is out of my price bracket and my level of knowledge.

Anyway, back to the sunshine

welcome Mike - the K10D or K200D are a good choice and even the K100D if you can get it real cheap. From what I here there are some bargains to be had with the K10D on the second hand market.

cheers
Keith

K10D has left me wanting nothing.. I did have a quick bout of megapixule envy but, I can knock out 1600 ISO shots and keep 'em clean if I think about them so I passed. For now!

The best compliment to the K10D so far has been good glass. The DA 16-45 and 50-200 is one hell of a start. Though, there are much faster and much more expensive alternatives if you have the scratch.. The 16-45 is hard to replace at any cost however. The 50-200 is a bargain.

Having said that, do not pass up the opportunity to review some other lenses made by the fine folks from Tamron and Sigma. FYI- Pay close attention to the warranty offered with third party lenses.

In addition to the other suggestions, check out the marketplace forum at the bottom of the list of fora (?). I am a K10D fan.

I am not having the problems that some seem to have with it, perhaps because I bought my first Pentax 48 years ago. I'm not talking about Pentax, I am talking about thinking out how to get around camera idiosyncracies. Every one of them is different.
