Hello from Boston

Hi everyone,

Thanks to all for your helpful and thoughtful comments. After reading through the forums, I bought the K-30 a few weeks ago and have had no regrets. Pentax has been a great fit for me and I hope that more people get into the brand. This is my first DSLR and thus far I've just been practicing how to take better photos. I've managed to pick up a few prime lens as well on decent sales as walkaround lens -- I've found the 18-135mm kit lens a little bothersome with it telescoping down from gravity (I use the sun sniper strap around the city). So far so good!

Thanks JC. I'm originally from the West Coast, so it's certainly been a different experience here. A lot to see in the city, so it's nice being able to practice on a number of different subjects without having to travel too far. Now if I can only free up my schedule so I can shoot in more optimal lighting and weather conditions...
