Yes, another Pentaxian from Adelaide Australia.

Thought it was about time i introduced myself since i've been learning to navigate the site for quite some time. A friendly and helpful site with some great questions/answers.
Bought my first SLR not long after my kids were born, a Pentax ME super with smc 50mm f1.7 lens. Also had Vivitar 70-210 f3.5 series 1. and Takumar 28mm f2.8.
Until my kids were teenagers the camera was very rarely away from me, lost a bit of interest when they got older but splashed out on a K10d a few years ago and got the bug again with a passion.
Bought a DA18-250mm, didn't have it long, sold it and got a DA12-24mm and made do with the Vivitar 70-210mm zoom.
Later on i sold the zooms and invested in FA 31mm F1.8LTD, DA 200mm F2.8, and still used the SMC 50mm f1.7
I couldn't resist the K5 when it appeared, and to this day still believe it's a brilliant piece of equipment. At the same time i succumbed to a DA15mm f4LTD, DA70 F2.4LTD, FA100mm f2.8 macro WR, and a DA300mm F4.
I've been waiting for the day of the announcement of the K3 and yes i've dug deep and placed the order with battery grip.
Just been reading about the release of the 20-40LTD zoom, i won't be buying one but if it performs anything like the other LTDs will certainly be a lens worth having. I admire how Pentax have produced a bunch of compact quality primes and camera's that must get the major players wondering somewhat.
Always looking forward to jumping on the site and reading news/questions/views etc.

Welcome mate. That's an impressive gear list you've got there. You're either upper management, in mining, or single.

Ha, you guessed it, became single a number of years ago. Just about to acquire a couple of grandchildren so finances might abruptly change! Thanks for the welcome.
