Hello everybody . One start up q . Are there other ways that too describe taking a pickture other than shooting . I really don't like the resemblens too firering a deadly weapond .

. I have really used this site a lot and think its great just like all pentax stuff ( ex. neck strap of the k5 ll . Took a nice one from an k1000

) . Excuse my English i am from Denmark

Welcome to the forum. "Shoot" is a word that has many meanings. Yes, you can use a rifle to shoot. A new shoot grows on a plant. You could say "the road goes down the hill and then shoots off to the left". Or you could say that water shoots over the spillway of a dam. The word does not have to be connected with firearms. You can shoot a few images with a camera.But you could always say that you snapped a few images instead.
