Hello to All,

I am new to this forum and must say that it has been very helpful in my decision to become a Pentaxian and I don't even have a camera yet! I am fairly new to photography, but I have always enjoyed taking pictures. I remember being a child and my father would take me on hikes and try to explain how to take an in focus image manually, then a few years ago my husband and I took a trip and he often found himself without his camera since I was always asking for it. After that he told me I needed my own camera and now I am so glad he made the suggestion.
I have used Nikon and Canon in the past, but was never truly impressed with the image quality and that is when I found this forum and Pentax. If and when I can afford the K-5 IIs or K3 then I am sure I will never look to another brand. Thanks to all of you for all of your collective knowledge and willingness to share it with us newbies.
