Hi everyone!

I've been visiting PF several months now and I always found what I was searching for.. valuable information about lenses, cameras, techniques of shooting etc. That's why I finally decided to join the community properly and become a member

. I'm a proud owner of lx and few ordinary lenses (M 50 f1.7, M 80-200 f4.5, M 28 f2.8). Recently I've started to experiment with longer exposure times using high ND filters and I'm planning to make some nice pics of moving objects using strobe light

(H. Edgerton style

. Hopefully I'll post some of my work soon.

Welcome to the Pentaxforums! Your Edgerton style stroboscopic pics will be wonderful to see.

BTW, if you're in the Czech Rep. (not Moravia, NY, USA), can you give me a hint how to pronounce "Brno?"

I think I can help here, Czech minimizes vowels, so you'll see words like Brno or Zmrzlina (try saying that - lol .. ice cream!).
Pronouncing 'Brno' .. start with 'Brrr' (like you're cold) and end with 'Noh' (like a Spanish 'No' .. note the truncated 'o' sound).

Welcome to the forum, the LX, IMHO is still one of the finest cameras that Pentax have ever made, enjoy it.
