This is my first DSLR Camera!!

Hi, Pentax fans!

I just buy a new K-5 iis from B&H on Black Friday and finally I can touch it right now. It's smaller than I expected but I like the solid and compact design!

my mom had a Pentax film point-and- shoot camera long ago.Maybe that's part of the reason why I choose Pentax this time.

Hope to discover the world of photography with this camera!

Yay! Welcome! If your mom had any old pentax lenses, you can use them.

Welcome from Iowa! You picked an amazing camera! A little jealous, but I'll get over it! The beauty of the design is that you can start out full auto, then as you get more knowledgeable, you can experiment with different functions!! So you can start out like a P&S and still get great shots!! Don't be shy with posts or photos.
