Hi,
I just joined the forum to check out reviews and especially the marketplace.
It seems like a nice place, might as well say hello too!
I used to love film photography, but recently decided to sell everything and buy a digital one to try things out.

Welcome. The nice thing with Pentax is you don;t have to "sell everything". All your old (k-mount) lenses will work on a new Pentax DSLR, and others with an adapter.

You're right!
However they were old manual lenses and I felt like I had to reborn myself like a phoenix into digital ha ha ha!

Welcome to the forum, I agree with Mark and lapaffe though that you should hang on to any old glass you have. Its fun to use on a digital too.

And the old lenses take great pictures still. I use two M's and have to try out a recent gift of a Takumar 55/1.8 soon. Pretty well stuck inside with the lovely (NOT) weather here in the Canadian Rockies in winter.
