Hi everyone

...getting back into my love of photography after many, many years.
My last "real" camera (other than my cell phone) was a 35mm Nikon F2 and it got to be a time consuming hobby spending hours upon hours in a B&W darkroom breathing chemicals and processing film & prints.
I'm looking forward to the new world (for me) of DSLR's and photoshop...

I researched a LOT of DLR's and after 3 weeks finally decided on the Pentax K-3 because I wanted a really solid, high-end and well-built piece of equipment.
The Pentax seems to fit the bill.
I'm very excited to be receiving it next week and look forward and learning more about it on the forums here.

Pentax is my first when I went to DSLR because the price and at the time Pentax was the only ones that used SD cards when everyone else used expensive CF memory cards. Glad to have you here

If you get a chance to try the new ones, Talisker Storm, Talisker Dark Storm and Talisker Port Ruighe, I can personally recommend them all.
