New Pentax user in VA!

I've been looking up cameras for a while.. I originally bought the k-50, a few months ago after researching entry-level DSLR's, but I really wanted more diversity in choices (and a little more IQ) and I was stricken with the K-3. Since I got my k-50, I've tried out the same level Nikon D7100 and Canon t4i and they weren't something I felt like I meshed with like I did the k-50. I got the k-3 and an HD Limited 15mm a week or two ago, and I haven't looked back.

Thanks I don't do any processing (obviously) but the camera's beast enough to make me look like a decent photographer.

Welcome to the forum, what a great a combo, I'm surprised you could put it down long enough to even introduce yourself here.

My plan is actually to return the lens (no matter how good it is, and it is) because I'm really looking to get the D FA 100 mm WR. That thing is beautiful and I guess I'm more of a seeing the big picture in small things rather than landscape kinda guy. Also where I live and my job is very restricting on my travels to sights. But I make do! I'm just trying to figure myself out as a photographer still. But thank you (sorry for the backstory)

What's all this "return" malarkey, you just add to a lens collection, never subtract from it, how does LBA stand a chance if you carry on like that?

Well I definitely wouldn't MIND having both lenses :b but I'm not sure I could justify having both to my wife yet in our early financial state of saving and my macro yearn is just much stronger than my landscape! Hopefully one day I will be able to give in to the LBA, but I have a feeling it won't be until after the perfect storm of coming months for holidays and birthdays and anniversaries in my family.

Your definitely new around here, as you will find out, this word is not in a Pentaxians vocabulary.

Have a great festive break to both you and yours.
