This is just a quick note to introduce myself. I am a retired university professor who is reestablishing photography as my hobby. In the 1970s I shot a lot of slides and photos on my Pentax MX that I still own along with 28mm, 50mm, 100mm macro & 135mm lenses. When I retired I bought a Canon T3ii before discovering that I could use my old lenses on a K-01, which I bought. My Canon gathered dust as I learned to use my old lenses on the (ahem!) idiosyncratic K-01. I am trading in my Canon equipment on a K-3. The Canon was fine, but I love the old lenses. I am also thinking about shooting some film with my old MX.

PentaxForums has helped me to understand and appreciate my old and new cameras. I am looking forward to learning more from you.

PS. The attached JPeg is fairly low resolution. What resolution do you recommend for email attachments and/or posting to this site? Thanks?

Our attachment system is for inline web-sized uploads, and it automatically scales your files if they're too large. If you'd like to upload larger images, try our user photo gallery or an external hosting provider Welcome to the forum!
