Hi

Very much enjoyed reading lens reviews so thought i would introduce myself as just joined.

I do children and family portraiture in professional capacity and for personal i enjoy wildlife and nature.

I have had pentax spomatic in the cupboard for last 20 years unused due to stuck battery compartment and having gone digital.

I got a fuji X-E1 and found i could use my M42 lenses with it so dug out the Super Takumar 50mm 1.4, 135mm 3.5 and found they worked great. later realised i had the 8 element 50mm 1.4

Have added a few more M42 lenses including some great Takumars, and am going to get the old spotmatic working too.

M42 lenses:
Takumars - 28mm 3.5 smc - 50mm 1.4 8 element - 135mm 3.5 Super Tak - 135mm 2.5 SMC V2 - 200mm f4 Super Tak - 200mm f3.5 preset

Other:
Carl Zeiss Jena 35mm 2.4 mc - Helios 44-2 58mm f2 -Hanimex 135mm 3.5 12 blade - Auto Chinon 135mm 2.8

Welcome to the forum, the good news is that, even the more modern Pentax DSLR cameras can also still use the older lenses too.
