I'm a long time Pentaxian, new forum member. I own 2 K3 bodies, one silver, one black. I've been shooting professionally with PENTAX cameras since 2008, and owned PENTAX cameras since the '70s. I was a video producer for 20 years prior to switching to photography in 2008.

One of the K3s (the black one) is experiencing the dreaded On/Off switch issue, which prompted me to join this forum, as it has been well discussed.

Welcome to the forum, sorry to hear about your problem but I'm sure it's one that will be easily fixed under warranty and at least you have a backup K-3 to tide you over during repair time.

Welcome to the forum, sounds like a need for another K-3 body, to back the back up.
