Coming back to the fold

Just a quick introduction.

I recently purchased a K-30 with 18-55mm WR kit to get myself back into SLR photography. I had drifted away after film got harder to find so I retired my Program Plus.

When I started looking, I thought that Pentax made the most sense since I had shot with it before and had a few lenses. I bought the kit, got it home and played around with it a bit before digging out the old glass. To my dismay, fungus had crept in and the lenses are now undergoing some UV treatment and cleaning to try and clear that up. In the meantime, I succumbed to LBA; F 35-105mm f4-5.6, F 35-70mm f3.5-4.5 macro, F 70-210 f4-5.6, and an FA 50mm f2.8 macro. Add to that an SMC A 50mm f1.7 from the Program Plus and the 18-55 kit lens. Thanks to the great lens database here it was a lot easier to make decisions.

Hoping to keep in touch with the great people here. Lots of good info for the taking.
