Hello! I am Joseph Alba, from Iloilo City, Philippines. I'm now in Cebu and I hope to have the time and chance to drop by the Pentax factory at Mactan, Cebu before flying back to Iloilo CIty tomorrow with my wife and children (Moises 16 yrs old and Sophia 9 yrs old). Moises loves the K-30 with 18-135 WR,and Sophia loves the K-01 with the two kit zoom lens. They enjoy having Pentax shootouts with me as judge to who produced the better picture of the day. I'm currently training 31 children from poor families living in the squatters area in photography using 2 Pentax K-01 cameras which have the 2 kit lens and a Pentax K-30 camera.with 18-135WR lens. I decided to use Pentax cameras exclusively because they are made in the Philippines and Pentax is like a perfect metaphor of these Filipino children. While Canon and Nikon are decidedly more popular (and expensive), Pentax, with proper knowledge of ISO, Aperture, Shutter Speed, HDR, Exposure bracketing, etc, produces very good picture. I pray and I believe that these 31 children (ages 13 to 21 yrs old) will have much better lives because they are going to earn a living using these Pentax cameras and the photography (and videography) skills they will have. I'm super excited!

Welcome to the forum and good luck with the teaching program, it can't be the easiest thing to do under those conditions.
