Been here awhile...

But just now getting around to posting. This site has been most helpful and instructive for me a total newbie when it comes to dslr/mirrorless! I purchased my K-01 when the prices dropped knowing I wanted a "real" camera but then knew virtually nothing when it arrived! Every time I had questions about lenses I would find myself on this forum looking at reviews and finally joined. Thanks for all the great information on here!

Sometimes the first post is the hardest, but now you're off & running.

People are very welcoming here, so don't hesitate too long before your next post.

You are welcome. By the way, what lenses do you have for your K01?

Thanks for the welcomes!

The K-01 came with two kit lens- the 18-55mm and the 50-200mm. I purchased two pentax 50's, both manual focas, a 1.4 and a 2. and I LOVE them both. I also have an F 35-70 mm 3.5 macro which is pretty cool too. The next purchase will be at least something in the 300mm range, thinking of getting the DAL 50-300mm and then selling off my 50-200mm. After that I'd like to get something wider than I've got.
