Pentax SMC F 35-70 or the AF 35-135mm for K-x?

For shooting good portraits of children and their families should I get the 35-70mm or the 35-135mm SMC F / AF? I already have the kit lens, tamron 28-300mm, and the A 50mm 1.7? I have the k-x.

Or neither and get the DA 50mm 1.8? or the 35mm?? Im soooo confused on what to get......

Check the form database for ratings on the two, then decide if you need the extra reach for the heavier one.

Bonjour from France and welcome to PF, smilez1gin ... I have the F 35-70, which I think is a great lens for its overall IQ, small size and "close focus"/macro capabilities; it spends a lot of time on my K-5 ... hope to see an image or two soon ... Salut, J
