From faraway, exotic upstate New York

Hello,

I'm a fulltime freelance writer who photographs to illustrate my work.

I still have a couple of Pentax film cameras, and now I am looking into Pentax digital.

Cheers, Jock

from one upstater to another, welcome,

with the crazy weather we have, it'd be nuts to not have a weather sealed camera.

Welcome here, you've got me intrigued, now you must provide the photographic evidence of all this faraway and exotic stuff.

And welcome from a "part time" NYer. Born & raised around Keuka & Seneca lakes area, now spend my summers up there. Based upon what I hear from people in that area, your "exotic" might equate more to "Artic"!

It was only -19 in the Syracuse suburbs overnight. Hardly 'Arctic'.

Calicojack,

As they say in the islands, "I'm heep, mon!"

Thanks for the welcome,

Welcome Jock,

I'm located due south of Rochester on the Pa. border. It's been quite a few years since we've had a winter this cold. No one can say our weather is boring. We do live in a beautiful area.( is that what all the taxes are about ? )
