Hi to all fellow Pentaxians

Just bought a K5ii six hours ago. Upgrade from my K10D. Still hanging on to my K10D and also have some trusty film Pentax cameras. The Pentax MX, Spotmatic and a P30n. Hopefully I will learn a lot on this site.

Hi Fellow Pentaxians. Just want to say Hi. I have a K5ii and *ist DS. Having a great time with both. I usually go out with both cameras, one fitted with a 35mm limited and another with the Tamron 70-300mm Di.

Hi Tina
Thanks for the warm welcome. Hopefully I can get to use the camera more this coming weekend. From what I shot indoors last night was quite impressive. ISO 3200 is very useable.

Welcome aboard! I made that jump from the K10D to K5D a few years ago - it's a big jump!

Hi. I was watching a K20D on an online auction here in NZ and then changed my mind to buy this new K5ii. Basically the K20D is just a K10D with more pixels but this K5ii is a very big jump up from the K10D. Autofocus is the fastest I have experienced so far on a Penatx :-)

Hi. Will try to get some photos on this weekend, weather permitting but ... hey, this K5ii is weather resistant so no excuses for not going out if weather is a tad awful :-)
