Hello there!!

Greetings!,

Just bought my first Pentax! A K-5 iis and I love it! Now I am just gonna need some advice since this is my first Pentax, although I wish I had gotten one many many many years ago!!!
I am not gonna go crazy on accessories......yet. I have the standard 18-55mm lens and am in search of a good long distance zoom. I was thinking about the HD PENTAX DA 55-300mm f/4-5.8 ED WR.. I shoot mostly street and static objects. No studio and I will be doing very minimal post processing... guess i would be more of a "Tactical shooter" if you will.. Lots of motorcycle events and and whatnot....

Welcome aboard! The 55-300 is certainly the most affordable decent quality long zoom available. I'd suggest Lightroom, but there are other ways. The biggest thing I need to do with longer zoom shots is adjusting the exposure and contrast a little bit.
