Hello from a born again film user :-)

Hi. I've just ordered a nice black MX from eBay that comes with the 50mm f1.7. I've also ordered a 28mm f2.8 and a 135mm f3.3. Really looking forward to getting stuck in! I've also ordered a few rolls of FUJIFILM Superia 200 to get started. Does this sound like a reasonable set-up for me to begin with? I've stuck to prime lenses rather than zooms. Also, is this a good film? Where would it be best to get it processed and scanned to CD in the UK please? Cheers for ant advice.

Welcome. The MX and that f1.7 lens are superb, my favourite setup. Film is very satisfying to some of us - I know that I don't feel the same way about digital. Your best bet is to Google for film processors in your area. As you know, slower ASA is usually finer grain. I have just bought Kodak Ektar 100, finest grain available. (came from ebay Thailand of all places)

Hi, Nice to see that I am not alone in this idea of getting back on film.

Welcome
