'Ey Up' from Derbyshire

Ey Up everybody, I'm new here and just thought it polite to introduce myself.

I've been taking photos for years and thanks to spending a few of those years behind a camera shop counter I've used most makes of camera but until a couple of months ago I'd never owned a Pentax.

I acquired a nice MZ-M with a number of lenses recently but haven't yet been able to get out and use it, then last week I took the plunge and bought a secondhand K200D and 18-55 lens… My main camera is (dare I say it here?) a Nikon D600 but I've always found that using different kit can really get the photographic juices flowing and I'm hoping that'll be the case here (having been in the photographic doldrums a bit lately).

Welcome to the forum, get hold of a Pentax K-3 and check it out and you'll move to the Darker Side.

Thanks for the welcome! Not sure about a move to the 'darker side' but I can see myself expanding my Pentax kitbag in the near future.

My choice of 'light tight box' can vary during the course of one day when I'm in the mood… Anything from folding roll-film cameras to the Hipstamatic app on an iPhone… And anything in between!

Thanks! I'm sure I'll get going now that spring seems to have finally arrived.
