Newbie Photographer

Hi all! My wonderful husband, OregonJim, introduced me to this site and to the wonders of photography. I've always been the one taking pictures, but now, thanks to my new husband, I've got better cameras to play with! He's so wonderful to let me learn on his Pentax cameras. I love macro and nature photography. I can't wait till I finally understand ISO, Aperture, and shutter speeds. It's a lot more complicated than my little cheap point and shoots that I've had. I'm looking forward to our move across country and the photographic opportunities we'll come across as we move. Currently, I'm doing the 365 project and am having fun and learning a lot. I look forward to meeting new people on here and making new friends and 'picking' your brains for help and hints...

Welcome to the forum. You will find useful info and friendly advice.

My wife has a K-01 and I shoot with a K-7. We can share lenses but more importantly we can enjoy life and photography together.

Have fun and enjoy your camera.

Thanks for the welcome everyone! I'll try to post a pic or two soon. Right now, I use my Fujifim Finepix S8000fd. But soon, I'll be using a pentax. Does it matter if I post some pics from my fujifilm or should they just be from a pentax?

I'm not sure this attachment is going to work, but if it does, it was taken with a Pentax K100D with a 100mm macro lens, handheld. I just shot what was in front of me.... :-)
