Hi Forum Members,

as newbie here in the PENTAX Forum I like to tell you a little bit about me. I'm from Port Adelaide, South Australia, owner of a PENTAX X-5 which brought me an award in a journalism competition.

I got introduced into photography as little kid by my daddy, started age 19 as Freelance reporter and photographer for newspapers and magazines and run since 1st January 2014 my own photography business. Even I do different styles of photography it's the nature I like most, on second place is everything which has to do with transport (Roadtrains, Trucks, Old-timer cars/cars, Motorbikes, Helicopters/Aeroplanes, on third I like Industrial photography. I'm also doing portraits but I don't like to photograph weddings and not so much night photography even I did some light paintings and other night shootings, maybe I learn about this kind of art a bit more and learn then to like it.

My job is my hobby but beside the photography I like everything which have to do with maritime themes so as ships, our Port River dolphins, water-sports, I like to travel our wonderful Outback and holidaying in my country as I did see enough of the world. I like reading Regency novels and works from Charles Bukowski and Ernest Hemingway. I enjoy good Art and call us photographers Artist even painters don't like to hear this,

I like to keep my photos as natural as possible and I hate photo editing.

I think I told you now the important things of me but will answer your questions should you have some, so don't hesitate to ask me what you like to know about me.

Welcome, you and me both but sometimes professionally speaking weddings pay the bills, certainly in the early days of a photography career.

Welcome aboard from another Adelaidean. I was down your way shooting the Laneway festival a month or so ago.
There are several other active forumites from Adelaide: look up jackassp, Digitalis and southlander for starters.
