Isbab wants to say hello

Hi everybody,
I call myself Isbab and I live in Berlin.
About 1 1/2 years ago I bought myself a Pentax K30 with three lenses: the normal kit-lens (18-135mm), a macro lens (100mm) and a tele-zoom (55-300mm).
I love going out into the nature and taking pics - my favourites are birds (tele), insects and flowers/blossoms (macro).
But most of my pictures I make at concerts - I love heavy metal music.

Often I just get good pictures by trial and error and my friends say, they can see an improvement with time.
Whenever I´ve got a question I hope to find an answer here.

Welcome aboard! You have got yourself a very nice kit there, very close to what I would have chosen should I start over

I'm sure you will get answers should you have any questions, but please do have a look around the forums. There's a lot of information and inspiration to be found!

And don't be shy about sharing some of your own photos. That's a great way of learning too!

Welcome aboard, Isbab! That's a good starting kit, it will do pretty much everything.
This is a great place to share and learn.

You and I sound like we have a few interests in common.

Welcome to the forum, you picked a very difficult genre to photograph, but that's what keeps the good 'uns special.
