Final choice

It’s been 6 month now that I'm looking for my first DSLR. I have an 35 mm Pentax that my father gave me as a kid. I was minded to buy a full frame 610 or 6D, but they have weakness for the price, AF to slow, or poor AF points, No WIFI, expensive lens ... End last week I read reviews on low light performance of K3 whit out low pass filter...WOW! My mine was made up, I'm going for the K3. That's why I'm joining this forum. Phil

Yeah, if you don't get the higher end FF offerings you're sacrificing a lot - just to keep the costs down.
Meanwhile the K3 packs a lot of very cool features into the typical rugged compact Pentax body.

Did you have any good lenses with that film body? Most are easily usable on the new Pentax bodies.

Some cool features that I like besides the control of the filter is 1/8000, cool HDR, shot and prosessing speed, WR body and on some lens.

My 35mm is an Spotmatic and my old lens are Takumar 1:1,8/55 and Macro-Takumar 1:4/100.

You'll need an adapter for those, but you can still use them. The Macro is still useful, for sure.
