Hello everybody!
I am Vasilis and I am a proud owner of a classic Pentax K-1000.
I am a rookie in photography but I try my best.
Hopefully my next camera will be either a K-500 or K-50 in the next few months!

Welcome. Lots of PF members here have experience with both film SLRs and DSLRs.

You may know that the K-500 and K-50 will work with whatever lenses you have for your K1000, although not as easily as with more modern lenses.

Also the DSLR image sensor is smaller than the film image. So if you have, for example, a 50 mm lens on your K1000, it will behave as a more telephoto 75 mm lens on your future K-50 or K-500.

Welcome aboard, many here had and indeed still have K-1000s in their camera bags, enjoy it.
