Greetings from Venice!

Hello!! I'm Marta from Venice, Italy...
I started shooting with my dad's Pentax (Asahi Pentax - AP) and when I had the chance I bought a K-7... that was stolen recently! I'm desperate! of course I'm planning to buy another one .. of course Pentax!

Welcome to the forum Marta, sorry to hear about your loss but it now gives you chance to check out the Pentax K-3 and save for it.

Welcome, Marta. I hope your lost K-7 is soon replaced. The one good thing about this is that your choice of new Pentaxes is now better and broader. I like your B&W photo. Was it taken on film, or with your K-7?

Too bad about your camera. I hope you can afford to replace it soon. There are several k5's for sale on the marketplace right now as well as a selection of other nice cameras.

Hi Marta,

TheMarketplace is a great place to buy from. I purchased my k5, pentax 18-135 wr, sigma 70-300 and an m42 converter, all seperate purchases here. All items were exactly as described and all communication with the sellers was pleasant. People on this forum seem friendly and courtious. I feel safe buying items sight unseen. Good hunting for your camera.

Now that's a good thought! I'll be there again for a few days later this year, so some new ideas for photos would be good. Perhaps we should start our own Pentax Akadamie (Accademia?) there!
