G'Day From Tasmania

G'Day fellow Pentaxians,
i'm new to Pentax Forums but not to Pentax.
I have been using Pentax Camera's for years and currently use the K-5 II, K-x and the Z10 SLR.
I first started with a RICOH KR-5 Super then upgraded to a Pentax P30, my next camera was the Z10
followed by my first DSLR, the K-x. I still use the Z10 as i still like to use film, i use the
K-x for Macro only and my new edition, The K-5 II i use for general photography : in my case
Nature Photography.
I hope to get to know people on here and would love to share ideas etc.

Thanks for reading my intro to Pentax Forums ........... TazmanDownunder (Rob)

Thanks Sigmund, i managed to get 2 shots off before it dove under the water.
My first experience with a Platypus in the wild, it really made my 10k walk worth while.

Hi there Tassie!

Hi, I have just joined myself and I am surprised how many Aussies there are. Maybe all that sunlight make us want to take pictures. OOPs, sorry you live in Tassie, do you ever get to see the sun between the raindrops?

Cheers,
JackFromAdelaide

I know where your coming from, but where i live in the northwest, it's a bit like living down south in WA. Hobart way is like Seattle in the usa, but it's nice here with mild winters and about mid to late 20's in the summer. We have the scenery and wildlife here, i'd get sick of taking photo's of church's all the time ..... lol My little dig.
Welcome to Pentax Forums mate, looks like the place to be ..... cheers
