Hi I am an older member

Completely new to this, I have joined a local (very small) camera club where I am hoping to get some much needed help. I live in a regional area of NSW (Australia), so numbers in the club are small. The members have been quite helpful but when the meetings are only once a month and I work and the younger members also work makes it hard to get information when I need hence my joining this site.
I am going to start on the free courses as listed by Jacob and see how I go. I was looking to see lenses to see what sizes and what will fit and find this forum.

Welcome to the Forum. There are many active Aussies around here. You may add your township to your signature to alert other regional members. We have a number of Pentaxians at PF who leave in the country side.

The K-30 is a nice camera and you will enjoy it very much. You will find a lot of hepful info at PF.

I believe that that there are at least 1 to 2 PF members near Coff Harbour. There are also several social groups at PF: it may be worth to try if there is a social group nearby!
