Hola!

Hi all,

I'm a Nikonian that recently purchased a Honeywell Spotmatic F and a couple of Takumar lenses to go along with it (thanks to eBay). The camera is an exact copy of my first ever camera that I had when I was a youngster but no longer have. Sold the original about thirty years ago and have been kicking myself ever since. Nice to finally be able to quit kicking myself. The camera is a real beauty but needs new light seals. Trying to decide if I should have the camera re-sealed and serviced or just look for a digital Pentax body to use these beautiful Takumar lenses on. I'm afraid that if I use the Spotmatic, It might get a scratch on it. Decisions.....decisions.....

I'm glad that I found this site and hope to be around for awhile.

The correct answer is, of course, you should do both

Okay....you talked me into it.

Right now, it's in Eric's hands. I know that when I get it back, I won't be able to resist using it. In fact, I've already found some subjects to use up a little of this B&W film that I've got on.
