time to upgrade for video?

i have a k-r and love it. I just ordered the sigma 12-24, and I have the 18-55 and 55-300. I would like to shoot better video. I thought the k01 looked like fun option, but it appears to have been orphaned.
i don't want to go over $1,000, so that takes the k03 out of the mix. Which camera makes the most sense for an upgrade? I am loyal to Pentax. I still have my super program and some manual lenses.

If you care for external audio, the K-3 is your best bet. It's just under $1000 if you sell the free grip/flash/flucard that comes with it (see here).

However, for considerably less you can get the K-50 ($421.95), which is a lot better than your K-r when it comes to video. The only issue is that like the K-r, it doesn't support an external mic. You do get full manual controls, on-demand AF, and .MOV files, though.
